Wedge gate valves

General information

ZWK type wedge gate valves are of forged-welded construction with metal-to-metal sealing.
They have flanged or weld-on connections.
Available diameters: DN50 ÷ DN300.
Pressure range: PN16 ÷ PN150 (ANSI 150 ÷ 900).
Temperature range: -30 ÷ + 60°C (special designs are also possible).
Medium: natural gas (special designs also possible).
They demonstrate outstanding reliability and durability due to the metal-to-metal seal.
As standard, they are manufactured in Class C Airtightness in accordance with EN 12266-1.
Airtightness in class A possible on request.

Wedge gate valves of our production can be used both to cut off and to periodically throttle the flow of the operating medium. They are mainly used in natural gas bypass and relief systems.
Due to the range of diameters and pressures available, they have a wide range of applications in:
- gas transmission pipelines
- block and bleeed systems
- other technological installations

As a standard, above-ground wedge gate valves are protected by spray-painting using electrostatic spray technology, depending on the corrosivity category in accordance with C4 or C5 and in accordance with EN ISO 12944-2.
The underground gate valve can be PUR-coated and tested in accordance with EN10290.

Special corrosion protection coatings according to customer specifications, on request.
At B536 request, we manufacture gate valves in special design and material versions, e.g. stainless steel or NACE-certified material MR0175.
We also manufacture valves, taking into account specific customer requirements, such as final pressure and functional testing of valves or checking the quality of anti-corrosion coatings.
